@Walter: And you know what they say about character, “Just because you are a character, doesn’t mean you have character,” so it’s very important to build up that character and life does become more interesting and you may feel more grounded when you work towards things that help build it up.

I’m glad you have shared this insights about your experience. I came to a point that I felt bored with the regular pattern of my life. But I have come to realize that I’m wasting my precious time. It dawned on me that I can make my life much better if I focus on the things that will build my character.
